About Me
I grew up in a small town called Gloversville in the capital region of New York with a population of 14,000 people. Throughout my youth, I occupied myself by competing in club and varsity swim, participating as both cast and crew in my high school drama club, and a variety of volunteer based activities. Throughout my senior year, I served as a communications representative on the Gloversville Enlarged School District Board of Education and learned that the only way to get through to parents, friends, and staff all at once was to understand their point of view and infuse that into my every word. Acting as a public relations practitioner for a place I hold dear has taught me that above all, public relations is about human emotion and human relationships, whether it be with an organization or an individual. I look forward to entering the world of PR and utilizing my empathy to bring the best public relations for those in need. I am most interested in exploring the worlds of international PR, travel PR, crisis management and writing.
